Gladys Pollack has a B.A. (Political Science), Brooklyn College (1949) and an M.A. (Political Science), University of Pennsylvania (1950). After receiving her Masters, she had a very brief career as a researcher at the Tax Foundation in New York as she met her husband and moved to Montreal. She was a stay-at-home mom for many years and in 1976 enrolled at McGill as a special student. She was a graduate student at McGill from 1977-1981 (Canadian History) and left McGill to work for the Reader's Digest as a researcher/fact-checker. She spent almost thirty happy years in pursuit of facts and accuracy in reporting.
